 Maxine Goulding
Event and Wedding Coordinator
Maxine Goulding is an events coordinator and in 1997 started making her transition from a corporate employee to an event planner. As an event planner she has worked with companies like Tapestry Events of New York, Federal Realty of Southern California and Planning Dynamics of San Carlos, California.
Maxine is the sole proprietor of California Special Occasions in San Jose, California which specializes in planning personal events; weddings, anniversaries, milestone birthdays, fundraisers and more. Since then she has completed several weddings, special events for the Leads Club of Northern California, a business conference and Grand Opening for the Greater San Jose Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and has worked on committees for Child Advocates of San Jose and the Billy Graham Foundation of Concord.
Maxine mixes her organizational skills with enthusiasm to create exciting events. She is personable, intuitive, and positive results oriented. By researching and studying everyday, Maxine is able to better serve her clients. Maxine’s experience includes overseeing or direct participation in planning and organizing meetings, personal events, workshops, and various trade show activities.
Maxine is an active member in the following groups: Focus Group of Campbell, Greater San José Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Association of Bridal Consultants, International Association of Hispanic Meeting Professionals, eWomenNetwork, National Association of Women Business Owners, Latina Coalition, and Toastmasters.
In addition, she holds the position of Board Member for the Greater San José Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, is a co-director for the Association of Bridal Consultants - Local Networking Group, and a Board Member of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
Maxine has a certificate in Event and Meeting Planning from San Jose State University Professional Development Center. She completed a training seminar with the Association of Bridal Consultants and is a Dale Carnegie graduate earning certificates in Human Relation Principles and High Impact Leadership.
The Association of Bridal Consultants is an exclusive professional association that promotes a level of excellence that has become the standard of the industry for consultants, coordinators and affiliated wedding professionals. Through ABC, Maxine receives continued education on the latest trends and changes in the wedding industry through seminars and meetings.
